Who are we?
Welcome to Watersports Port Vila, the premier provider of aquatic adventures in Vanuatu. We are a rebranded and expanded version of Tropic Thunder Jet, which has been operating successfully in the country since 2009. After the borders reopened following the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw an opportunity to expand and purchased different boats all about Vanuatu, and thus Watersports Port Vila was born.
Our team is led by owner and operator, Andy. With an extensive background in the adventure industry, Andy has worked as a professional guide in various parts of the world, including Alaska, Japan, Canada, and his home country of New Zealand. He now calls Vanuatu home and is passionate about passing on his knowledge about guiding and experience to local Ni-Vanuatu guides.
At Watersports Port Vila, we offer a wide range of aquatic activities for all ages and skill levels. Our fleet includes a semi-submarine, jet skis, and a party barge. Andy is hands-on with all aspects of the business, from marketing to web design to guiding and teaching. He even pilots the jet boats and flies a helicopter, having managed Vanuatu Helicopters for 10 years.
